The Gibson Victory was born in the early 1980s as an innovative offering from the American company, designed to provide modern performance in a distinctive and unconventional design. Characterized by advanced technical solutions for its time and an aggressive aesthetic, the Victory quickly earned cult status. Today, with its reintroduction, Gibson brings this iconic project back to life, updating it with contemporary features to meet the needs of modern musicians.

The new Gibson Victory Figured represents the evolution of this historic model, retaining its original DNA while introducing targeted improvements in terms of ergonomics, playability, and versatility. Designed to ensure maximum expressiveness, it stands out for its solid construction, refined design, and a technical configuration that adapts to various musical contexts.

The body, made from mahogany, is enhanced by an AA maple top, which contributes to clarity and brightness while maintaining a tonal balance with the warm tones of mahogany. The neck, also made of mahogany, features a SlimTaper™ profile designed to provide a comfortable and fast grip, facilitating smooth and fluid playability across the entire fretboard.

The ebony fingerboard, equipped with 24 Medium Jumbo frets and a compound radius from 10" to 14", ensures smooth and precise playability, making it particularly suitable for even the most technical and intricate passages.

The electronics consist of a pair of Gibson 80s Tribute humbuckers, designed to deliver a balanced output and excellent dynamic response, with a consistently defined and authoritative tone. The Volume and Tone controls incorporate a push/pull function for coil splitting, allowing for an immediate transition from the full-bodied sounds of the humbuckers to brighter and more refined single-coil tones, ensuring high tonal versatility.
