Description:
Inspired by the historic "Rex" line of instruments offered through mail-order catalogs in the 1930s, 1940s, and 1950s, the Jim Dandy™ captures the charm and spirit of the early Gretsch® flat-top guitars, featuring superior playability and high-quality tone.
With a "slope shoulder" body and a scale length of 24.75", the Jim Dandy™ Dreadnought provides a compact and comfortable shape without compromising the volume and low frequencies that make dreadnoughts so beloved.
The X-braced top is crafted from lightweight laminate, achieving an optimal balance between warm tone and reliability. The "C"-shaped neck offers a comfortable feel with a retro touch. Vintage details, such as the period-style fixed bridge, the "G" graphic pickguard, the pinstripe-painted sides, vintage Open Gear tuners, and the "oversize" inlays on the fingerboard, give the guitar a true vintage vibe.
Suitable for everything from blues to swing, the Gretsch Jim Dandy Dreadnought is an ideal companion for both beginners and seasoned musicians alike.
