Fender Custom 1957 Stratocaster Time Capsule "Modern Specs" - FR

With this series of Team Built - Custom Order guitars we have put all our art into creating instruments that pushed forward the limits that characterize the Fender Custom Shop instruments.

Like all brands with a great history, Fender is often only expected to do what has always built. The Fender USA division has been trying for few years to get out of this constraint with some series of very successful modern guitars, but the Fender Custom Shop division has always remained very conservative, failing to garner the attention of those guitarists looking for modern specs.

What you can't find in the products from alternative brands, however, is the quality and the tone of a Fender guitar. That's why we decided to offer these extraordinary instruments, with modern specs but with traditional sounds.

Let's start with the finish: Time Capsule. A very thin layer of Lacquer, without relic treatment, which allows the instrument to resonate in an exceptional way. A finish so thin that in a short time it will age right under the hands of the guitarist, giving the instrument that authentically worn look.

Moving on to the neck we find a modern Modern "C" profile, extremely fast, combined with a 22 fret Medium Jumbo / 6150 fretboard with a compound radius from 9.5 "to 12" and characterized by a contoured heel, for comfortable access even to the last frets. Then we have selected a nut with modern 1.685" width, which is the measure with which most contemporary guitarist is familiar with and a rolled edges fingerboard.

The bridge is an RSD Stratocaster Tremolo, featuring redesigned support points for greater efficiency in terms of tuning and precision in movement, optimized spacing for better distribution of the strings over the fingerboard, as well as a newly designed inertial block for a sustain and attack even more impressive.

Finally, the electronics we have selected is a set of Fender Custom Master Design Limited Single Coil hand-wound pickups, with a warm and defined tone, perfect for all genres.
