Using cables longer than 6 meters typically results in tonal degradation, particularly in the high frequencies; this phenomenon tends to worsen with longer cables. The Buffer boosts the signal over long cables to prevent this tonal alteration, keeping the sound clear and clean even with the pedal turned off.
