Line 6 DL4 Delay MKII

The DL4 MkII includes everything from the original DL4 Delay Modeler, while introducing 15 new MkII delays drawn from the HX family of amplifiers and effects processors, as well as a 4 and 1 switch looper with a maximum recording time of 240 seconds (expandable to several hours using an optional microSD card).

It also features an XLR microphone input, MIDI In and Out/Thru connectors, sturdy footswitches, three bypass options, and a jack for connecting an optional expression pedal or two additional footswitches. The DL4 MkII is also smaller and lighter than the original, making it an even more appealing choice for modern musicians.

• The DL4 MkII is constructed from die-cast aluminum to withstand the rigors of performance. It features the same layout of knobs and footswitches as the original. By pressing the Legacy button, the DL4 MkII is converted into a DL4.
• It offers 30 delay options: 15 new MkII delays from the HX family of amplifiers and effects processors, 14 original DL4 delays, and Echo Platter from the Echo Pro rack. The 4-Switch Classic Looper and 1-Switch Looper operate in mono or stereo and can be placed before or after other effects.
• With up to 240 seconds of recording in the built-in memory, expandable with an optional microSD card, you can store a loop in memory. Connect a dynamic microphone to the XLR input for vocal processing and looping (or for an acoustic instrument) and adjust the gain using the Trim control.
• MIDI In and Out/Thru DIN connectors allow you to receive continuous controllers, program changes, and other MIDI messages from external sources. The device features buffered, DSP, and true bypass. True and buffered bypass prevents A/D/A conversion, sending analog signals directly from Inputs to Outputs.
• The footswitches select presets A, B, and C. When the Looper is active, they select the Record/Overdub, Play/Stop, and Play Once functions. You can connect an optional expression pedal (assigned to relevant effect parameters), two assignable external footswitches, or one of either.
• You can connect up to two assignable external footswitches, an expression pedal, or one of both. It is powered by the included 9V DC-1g power supply or other 9V power supplies with a negative center.
