There is no doubt that a microphone is the best way to capture the sound of an acoustic guitar, but until now, using a microphone for a live performance has mostly been a dream.

The Lyric is a step forward in the Tru-Mic technology developed by L.R. Baggs; it is the realization of that dream. Without a pickup, the Lyric microphone accurately reproduces the true sound of your guitar.

The Lyric is truly lightweight! It is mounted inside the guitar beneath the bridge using a simple double-sided adhesive to preserve the integrity of your instrument.

The microphone utilizes the principle of "pressure zone," positioning its capsule just 3mm from the surface of the top, allowing it to capture all the sound of the soundboard to reproduce both tone and balance. The proximity of the microphone to the top of the guitar enables a high gain before distortion.

Unlike other internal microphones, the Lyric employs noise-cancelling technology that "rejects" the "boxy" reverberations that can occur within the sound chamber. This patented miracle allows the microphone to function as if it were placed outside the guitar, providing a clear and open sound.
