Description:
The Martin 0012-28 Modern Deluxe is a reimagining of a historic model from the Martin catalog. This Parlor 12-Fret guitar is enhanced with high-level technical features and modern design elements.
It features a Sitka spruce top artificially aged using the Vintage Tone System® (VTS) technique, animal glue construction, flamed maple binding, gold frets, and a stunning inlaid logo in the style of the 1930s.
Additional modern technical features include a Liquidmetal® bridge pin and a carbon fiber bridge plate that enhances volume without adding weight to the instrument.
The neck is one of the most modern ever used by Martin, extremely ergonomic and asymmetrical—a neck more akin to that of an electric guitar.
So technically captivating that we wouldn’t simply call it a “modern” version, but rather a new standard.
