Description:
The new Martin D-18 is completely different from its previous versions. In fact, since 2012, the Martin D-18 has undergone significant technical improvements. Firstly, the bracing of this new version is scalloped, X-braced, and Forward Shifted, the same as found in high-end models such as the HD-28V and D-42. The sound produced is definitely richer than that of the previous version, without sacrificing clarity, which is an essential characteristic of the D-18 model.
Additionally, the neck profile is now the Performing Artist Taper, a profile borrowed from the Performing Series, modern and comfortable even for less experienced acoustic guitarists. Finally, it is worth noting the presence of a solid ebony fingerboard and bridge.
