Description:
Perhaps the most revered vintage D-28s are those created in 1937, featuring a hand-crafted "X" Forward Shifted bracing, an Adirondack spruce top, and a 1-3/4" nut.
The D-28 Authentic 1937 is the most faithful reproduction of the original made by Martin. This instrument is constructed using animal glues, with a back and sides made of Guatemalan rosewood, where even the tiniest details of the body shape meticulously replicate the original instruments from the 1930s.
Holding it in your hands, you immediately sense that you have an instrument that is different from regular productions, and when you play it, this difference becomes even more pronounced: power, definition, and precision—all in one instrument. It's hard to describe: magnificent.
