The Maton EBG808 Artist is a superb instrument, crafted entirely from solid woods. With its Bluegrass shape and compact dimensions, it produces a defined sound with excellent projection and a fantastic bass response, making it perfect for studio recordings.
The back and sides are made from solid Blackwood, a wood capable of generating a powerful, defined, and bright tone, warmer than the maple used in the EBG808TE. Finally, the AP5 Pro electronics enhance the traditional AP5 system by incorporating a microphone positioned inside the soundhole to produce more nuanced and realistic soundscapes.
