Description:
The California Tweed 2x12 offers a bigger and wider sound compared to the sound generated by the Combo version or the 1x12 Cabinet version. Its two 8 Ohm Alnico speakers are connected in parallel for a total load of 4 Ohms.
The open-back design contributes to a notably lightweight overall. In terms of tone, the low frequencies are very present while the high frequencies are particularly smooth.
Like all Mesa Boogie cabinets, the Mesa Boogie 2x12 California Tweed Cabinet is made from "Marine Grade" Baltic birch with a jute front panel: an extremely durable cabinet, produced without compromise in terms of quality.
