Inspired by the legendary Tweed amplifiers, the Mesa/Boogie California Tweed 2:20 is a compact combo amplifier powered by 6V6 output tubes, featuring Duo-Class and Dyna-Watt circuitry, three selectable power levels, two operating classes, and three selectable wiring options.
At first glance, its simplicity is immediately apparent: a pure single-channel amplifier with a magnificent sound.
The Normal and Low inputs allow you to adapt the amplifier to different input levels from guitars, while the tone is easily shaped through the 3-band equalizer, along with the Gain, Presence, and Master controls.
Notably, it also includes a "Long Tank" tube reverb and a buffered effects loop. In every aspect, as is always the case with Mesa/Boogie, there are no compromises.
