The Mesa Boogie Clearlink (Receive) Converter / ISO Transformer is designed to compensate for signal loss caused by the use of long cables and is most often used in conjunction with the Mesa Boogie Clearlink (Send) Line Driver.
Another application is to combat ground loops or to isolate the signal, eliminating unwanted noise at any point in the signal chain, such as in a multi-amp switch setup or simply in send and return connections.
Additionally, it can be used to achieve phase reversal of the signal, which is useful in multi-amp configurations where one amplifier may be out of phase with another, or as an adapter from a standard signal to a balanced one.
The buffer circuit included in this exceptional accessory is of the highest quality, making it a "must-have" for every professional and semi-professional guitarist who leaves nothing to chance.
