The Ovation 2771AX-5-G The Timeless Collection reintroduces the original Balladeer with a center soundhole, first introduced in the 1960s, along with several enhancements such as a hand-selected solid Sitka spruce top, a Deep Contour Lyrachord® body, and a 5-layer maple and mahogany neck.

The electronics feature an OP-Pro Preamp and an OCP1K pickup, capable of producing a high-quality amplified tone.
