The Paul Reed Smith SE Swamp Ash Special is a unique addition to the SE lineup. With its Swamp Ash body, maple neck, and 22-fret maple fingerboard, it offers a truly interesting tonal configuration.
The pickups consist of a pair of 85/15 “S” and an AS-01 Single Coil “S” in the middle position. Notably, the AS-01 Single Coil “S” features Alnico and Steel magnets, which enhance the power of this single-coil's sound.
This instrument allows for versatility across many musical genres, from Country and Blues to Jazz.
