The Samson MDA1 is an active D.I. Box designed to balance the input signal from instruments such as guitar or bass.

The technical features of the Samson MDA1 include a switch for the input level that can be selected between 0 or -15 dB, ground lift, 1/4" jack connectors for input and thru, and a balanced female XLR connector for the output.

The unit can be powered either by a 9V battery or by +48V Phantom power.
