The progressive metal virtuosos of Periphery are known for their technically complex rhythms and precise sounds. Achieving such tonal quality requires high-output passive humbuckers with the right amount of output and articulation, both on their own and when working in a "crowded" mix. The Alpha and Omega pickups have been designed to meet that level of precision and versatility.

In collaboration with guitarist Mark Holcomb, the Omega bridge pickup has been created to deliver percussive, "destructive" tones, with aggression in the mid and low frequencies. It is an aggressive pickup but also possesses a great deal of clarity and openness, making it suitable for sophisticated chords, complex melodic lines, or intense solos.

The Alpha neck pickup, on the other hand, is different from most traditional neck models. It has been designed to combine the best qualities of both neck and bridge pickups, offering a bit of that thick, glassy sound along with a fantastic attack.
