Seymour Duncan SH-18b Whole Lotta

Seymour Duncan spent his youth in London, where he followed the young bands of the time, creating pickups for them. This would be unremarkable if it weren't for the fact that Seymour Duncan made pickups for one of the guitarists who has had the greatest influence on the global guitar landscape: Jimmy Page.

These SH-18 Whole Lotta pickups replicate the original pickups made by Seymour for Jimmy: Alnico 5 magnets and plain enamel winding. What makes these pickups unique is the way they drive the amplifier, creating natural compression and adding sustain.

The recommended pairings are, of course, two Whole Lotta Humbuckers, or a Whole Lotta at the bridge with a Pearly Gates at the neck. The pickup comes equipped with a 4-conductor wire. This version is intended for bridge use.
