The Seymour Duncan Stack Plus pickups sound like true Single Coil pickups for Stratocaster but without any hint of the traditional background hum. They deliver the same bright and defined tone you would expect from a vintage-style Stratocaster pickup.
The Seymour Duncan Stack Plus utilize Alnico 6 magnets and are equipped with 3 conductors, allowing you to wire the pickups in such a way that you can access, through a dedicated control, a "pure" Single Coil mode.
Please note that the Seymour Duncan Stack Plus are .995" (25.27 mm) high, which is .175" (4.45 mm) taller than vintage Stratocaster pickups.
