The tonal range flows seamlessly from a warm and defined Clean sound (extraordinary), through a fat and well-articulated Crunch, to the High Gain tones for which Soldano has become a reference point for many guitarists worldwide—all organized into 3 channels and 4 Galaxies. This amplifier impresses with its versatility, both in terms of sound and usability, thanks to the clarity it consistently maintains, regardless of the Gain setting.
An interesting feature is the Balanced Output, which allows for speaker IR simulations: there are a total of 6 IR Slots (with 6 exceptional pre-installed IRs), assignable independently for each channel and manageable through the Soldano Editor Software.
Finally, the ASTRO-20 is MIDI-controllable (up to 128 presets) and comes equipped with a headphone output featuring dedicated volume control.
