Description:
It is difficult to improve and refine a design that is arguably one of the most admired and copied in guitar history. However, John Suhr, with his Suhr Classic S, has succeeded in this endeavor, creating an instrument that, freed from the burden of certain outdated technical features, represents a perfect blend of tradition and modernity, with every detail in the right place.
This Suhr Classic S features a traditional alder body, and a Roasted Maple neck with a 60's "C" Vintage Standard profile (.810 - .930), paired with a beautiful rosewood fretboard with 22 stainless steel Jumbo frets, Compound Radius (9"-12"), and a 25.5" scale length.
A guitar with a modern feel, allowing players to glide effortlessly across the fretboard without surprises, thanks to meticulous attention to detail in the construction process.
The electronics features a set of V63 Plus Single Coil pickups, controlled by a 5-way selector switch and wired with SSCII - Silent Single Coil System II, designed to eliminate the classic Single Coil hum.
