This Japanese-made instrument is characterized by solid woods, a clean design, and a warm sound. The back and sides are crafted from solid sapele, a material that produces a balanced and defined tone, while the top is made from solid spruce.
Additional high-end technical features include a rosewood fingerboard, golden tuning machines with amber knobs, a satin finish, and the exceptional Takamine CTP-3 Cool Tube™ electronics: this special circuitry generates a warm and full sound, thanks to the inclusion of a low-voltage tube within the circuit. Other features include a 3-band equalizer with a semi-parametric mid-range section, an auxiliary input with volume control (to integrate a possible second pickup), and a built-in chromatic tuner.
