Taylor 212ce Plus

The Taylor 200 series guitars have always been among the favorites of guitarists at all levels. This latest version brings even more quality to a series already known for its fantastic price-to-performance ratio in terms of sound and playability.

The Taylor 212ce Plus features laminated rosewood back and sides, a material that, when paired with a solid "Torrified" Sitka spruce top, is capable of producing a warm, full-bodied tone rich in low frequencies, without sacrificing definition and resonance.

Unlike the standard version, this Plus variant of the 212ce model boasts a completely glossy finish, black binding, 4mm Dot inlays, and a Taylor Aerocase™.

Other technical specifications to note include the ebony fingerboard, ebony bridge, and Taylor ES2 electronics.

The Taylor Expression System 2 represents the latest evolutionary step in Taylor electronics. The new sensor is not positioned like traditional piezo pickups under the bridge; instead, it is placed behind it. This design minimizes the load on the sensor, allowing for unprecedented dynamic range in the sound. Furthermore, this positioning has enabled the addition of an adjustable balance control between treble and bass using a convenient Allen wrench.
