The Taylor 200 series guitars have always been among the most beloved by guitarists of all levels. This latest version brings even more quality to a series already known for its fantastic value in terms of sound and playability.

The Taylor 214ce Plus features a laminated rosewood back and sides, a material that, when paired with a solid "Torrefied" Sitka spruce top—treated to possess the tonal characteristics of a top that has been played for years—can generate a warm, full-bodied tone rich in low frequencies, while still maintaining definition and resonance.

Unlike the standard version, this Plus variant of the 214ce is distinguished by a fully glossy finish, black binding, 4 mm Dot inlays, and comes with a Taylor Aerocase™.

Other technical specifications not to forget include an ebony fingerboard, an ebony bridge, and the Taylor ES2 electronics.

The Taylor Expression System 2 represents the latest evolutionary step in Taylor electronics. The new sensor is not placed beneath the bridge like traditional piezo pickups; instead, it is positioned behind it. This reduces the load on the sensor, allowing for unprecedented dynamics in sound. Additionally, this placement has enabled the inclusion of a convenient hex key adjustment for balancing between the treble and bass.
