Description:
The Taylor 214ce-K SB Plus is a guitar that immediately captivates with its beauty. The back and sides are made of Hawaiian Koa, which, in addition to being aesthetically stunning, perfectly complement the solid Sitka spruce "Torrified" top and C-Class bracing. The resulting tone is well-defined, crystal-clear, with smooth midrange frequencies and sharply articulated highs.
This guitar boasts great sound projection and definition, making it ideal for strumming and rhythmic playing.
Other noteworthy technical specifications include an ebony fingerboard, an ebony bridge, and Taylor's ES2 electronics.
The Taylor Expression System 2 represents the latest evolutionary step in Taylor electronics. The new sensor is positioned behind the bridge rather than underneath it like traditional piezo pickups. This placement reduces load on the sensor, allowing for unprecedented dynamic sound. Additionally, this positioning has enabled the inclusion of an easy-to-use Allen wrench adjustment for balancing the treble and bass frequencies.
