Description:

The Taylor 222ce-K is an electro-acoustic guitar belonging to the 200 Series. Its body features a Grand Concert shape, which is well-suited for fingerstyle guitarists due to its dynamic nature, making it perfect for those seeking an instrument that is exceptionally comfortable to play. The materials used include laminated koa for the back and sides, stunning solid koa for the top, and ebony for the fingerboard and bridge.

The body has a cutaway design, allowing for easy access to the upper frets.

The tone is bright, with pronounced mid-range frequencies. This results in an instrument that is very defined, with a clear and bright sound.

The electronics feature the Taylor Expression System 2, representing the latest evolution of Taylor's electronics. The new sensor is positioned not beneath the bridge like traditional piezo systems, but behind it. This placement reduces pressure on the sensor, resulting in unprecedented sound dynamics. Additionally, this positioning allows for the convenient adjustment of the balance between treble and bass using an easy-to-use hex key.
