Its distinctive tonal quality is due to the use of solid mahogany for the top instead of traditional spruce, complemented by Neo-Tropical Mahogany back and sides. This 12-Fret version features a neck-body joint that occurs at the 12th fret rather than the 14th, which positions the bridge differently on the soundboard, providing a deeper tone with exceptional definition.

We present to you the V-Class version, equipped with the revolutionary "V" bracing pattern designed by the brilliant luthier Taylor Andy Powers.

The Taylor Expression System 2 electronics represent the latest evolutionary step in Taylor's electronics. The new sensor is positioned behind the bridge, rather than under it as with traditional piezo systems. This placement reduces the load on the bridge, enabling unprecedented dynamic sound. Furthermore, this positioning allows for convenient adjustment using an Allen wrench to balance the treble and bass.
