Description:
The Taylor 362ce 12-Fret 12-String is a twelve-string guitar with a remarkable sound and an unprecedented playability for an instrument in this category. Its unique tonal quality is attributed to the use of solid mahogany for the top, instead of the traditional spruce, and Blackwood for the back and sides. The result is an astonishing guitar.
This 12-Fret version features a neck-to-body joint that occurs at the 12th fret rather than the 14th, which positions the bridge differently on the soundboard, providing a deeper tone with magnificent clarity.
What we present here is the V-Class version, featuring the revolutionary "V" bracing pattern designed by the brilliant luthier Taylor Andy Powers.
The Taylor Expression System 2 electronics represent the latest evolutionary step in Taylor's electronics. The new sensor is not positioned like traditional piezo pickups beneath the bridge, but instead is located behind it. This placement reduces the load on the pickup, allowing for unprecedented dynamic range in sound. Additionally, this positioning has enabled the inclusion of a convenient hex key adjustment to balance the treble and bass frequencies.
