The Taylor 412ce-R Grand Concert is a lightweight instrument, extremely dynamic to the touch, perfect for the fingerstyle guitarist.

The warm and full tone of the solid rosewood is balanced by the fresh and distinctive sound of the Sitka spruce top. The Grand Concert shape provides the instrument with exceptional balance and unparalleled dynamics.

What we present here is the V-Class version, equipped with the revolutionary "V" bracing pattern designed by the brilliant master luthier Taylor Andy Powers.

This innovative bracing allows for overcoming the compromise between sustain and resonance that exists with the traditional "X" bracing. The "V" bracing enables the soundboard to move in sync with the strings, thereby increasing sustain without stiffening the structure, achieving both high sustain and high resonance.

The Taylor Expression System 2 electronics represent the latest evolutionary step in Taylor electronics. The new sensor is not positioned like traditional piezo pickups beneath the bridge but is placed behind it. This positioning reduces the load on the sensor, allowing for unprecedented sound dynamics. Additionally, this placement has enabled the inclusion of an easy-to-use Allen wrench adjustment for balancing the treble and bass.

This version particularly features a Tobacco Sunburst finish for the top.
