The Taylor Builder's Edition K14ce features a back and sides made from solid Hawaiian Koa, a material valued for its balanced tonal characteristics and stunning aesthetics.

The Sitka spruce top is "Torrefied," meaning it has been artificially aged through a controlled temperature and humidity process, giving the instrument enhanced dynamics and resonance.

The Taylor K14ce Builder's Edition is equipped with the revolutionary "V" bracing pattern developed by the brilliant luthier Taylor Andy Powers. This innovative bracing allows for overcoming the compromise between sustain and resonance typically seen with traditional "X" bracing, enabling the soundboard to move in synchrony with the strings, thereby increasing sustain without stiffening the structure, resulting in both high sustain and remarkable resonance.
