The Taylor Gold Label 914e belongs to the innovative series of guitars conceived by master luthier Taylor Andy Powers: instruments designed to push beyond the boundaries of tradition, combining premium materials with innovative technical solutions.

Specifically, the Gold Label 914e features a body with the innovative Super Auditorium shape, a variant of the iconic Grand Auditorium. Compared to the latter, it is more resonant while maintaining balance across all frequencies.

The top is made from Adirondack spruce paired with solid Honduras rosewood back and sides, a highly sought-after and valuable material. The bracing has also been revised: it features a Fanned V-Class bracing, a variant of the already innovative V-Class, which enhances the instrument's intonation and sustain.

The result is an extremely balanced, resonant instrument with a deep tone, powerful low frequencies, and defined highs.
