Description:
The original Royalist was the first amplifier from the American brand Tone King to offer the best features of "British" amplifiers. The new Royalist MKIII is a 40W combo, fully tube-driven, equipped with a 12" speaker, capable of reproducing all the nuances of iconic "British" amplifiers, ranging from the sweet cleans of a JTM45 to the ruthless Super Lead tones.
The Tone King Royalist MKIII perfectly captures the dynamic characteristics of the originals, combining this quality with contemporary functionality and technical features, such as the built-in Iron Man II attenuator.
Specifically, both channels are equipped with Push/Pull controls to activate the FAT mode, which adds low frequencies to the first gain stage.
Additionally, the 3-position Voicing selector (1964, 1967, 1970) is extremely useful, allowing you to choose a specific preamp and shape the sound to your liking.
This amplifier is fundamentally simple, yet it allows you to explore the "British" sound universe with astonishing quality.
