Wampler Ego Compressor

What is a compressor used for? A compressor controls the sound, levels it, and compresses it into a specific "range." While a standard compressor manages the sound, a great compressor will deliver the same compression and feel as pushing a tube amplifier to its limits.

In designing the Ego Compressor, Wampler kept this aspect in mind, along with the notion that a quality compressor should not color the sound.

Adding an extra level of freedom is the presence of a Clean Blend control, which allows you to select the perfect mix between the compressed signal and the "Dry" signal.
