Description:
Few guitars are as iconic as the one used by Eddie Van Halen, famously known as "Frankenstein." This instrument marked the first attempt to combine the technical features of a modern instrument with a Floyd Rose tremolo system with the traditional characteristics of a Fender Stratocaster.
The EVH Frankenstein Relic Series represents the "subtle" version of Van Halen's legendary "Striped" guitar, also known as "Frankie."
It features a basswood body, a maple neck with an oiled finish on the back for hours of comfortable play, a maple fingerboard with a compound radius of 12"-16", and 22 Jumbo frets.
"Frankie" is equipped with an EVH Wolfgang® humbucking pickup at the bridge, a dummy Strat® pickup at the neck, and a faux five-way selector switch positioned in the center.
