Introduced in 1990, the '57 Classic delivers a warm and full tone with a balanced response, offering that classic crunch of the Gibson PAF humbucker™. It is built to the same specifications as the original PAFs, including Alnico 2 magnets, nickel-plated poles, maple spacers, and vintage-style two-conductor braided wiring.
The '57 Classic Plus, designed to be paired with the '57 Classic in the bridge position, features a higher number of windings for increased output.
The '57 Classic Plus humbucker utilizes balanced coils for a more precise and creamy tone, along with excellent noise cancellation. Lastly, the '57 Classics are wax-potted to minimize the potential for feedback.
