Introduced in 1990, the '57 Classic produces a warm, full tone with a balanced response, delivering that classic PAF Gibson humbucker™ crunch. It is made with the same specifications as the original PAFs, including Alnico 2 magnets, nickel-plated poles, maple spacers, and vintage-style braided two-conductor wiring.
The '57 Classic Plus, designed to be positioned at the bridge in conjunction with the '57 Classic, features a higher number of windings for increased output.
The '57 Classic Plus humbucker utilizes balanced coils for a more precise and creamy tone, along with excellent noise cancellation. Finally, the '57 Classics are wax-potted to minimize the chances of feedback.
