Introduced in 1990, the '57 Classic produces a warm and full tone with a balanced response, delivering that classic crunch of the Gibson PAF humbucker™. It is made with the same specifications as the original PAFs, including Alnico 2 magnets, nickel-plated poles, maple spacers, and vintage-style braided two-conductor wiring.
The '57 Classic Plus, designed to be paired with the '57 Classic at the bridge, features a greater number of windings for a higher output.
The '57 Classic Plus humbucker utilizes balanced coils for a more precise and creamy tone, along with excellent noise cancellation. Finally, the '57 Classics are wax-potted to minimize the chances of feedback.
