EMG-85 - WH

Although the EMG-85 has slightly lower power than the EMG-81, its frequency response and interaction with the string are different. The 85 features two coils with AlNiCo magnets that produce rich lows and consistent highs. With a more natural tone, this pickup is ideal for rhythm and blues, as it delivers significant output while remaining very defined. It is the perfect choice as a neck pickup in combination with an EMG 81 at the bridge, which is the same configuration used by Zakk Wylde.

The package includes: EMG Quik-Connect™ connection cable, pre-wired tone/volume potentiometer set, output jack, battery clip, screws, and springs.
